About

As a creative soul, I am constantly seeking new ways to express myself and to make sense of the world around me. Over the years, this has taken me on quite a ride. Inevitably though, I continually find myself drawn to one art form in particular – one with which we all have a deeply emotional connection.

Food.

Delicious, healthy, exciting, vegan food. I love the meditation of preparing it and the joy of serving it to others.

Food is a meeting point of so many of my core beliefs. Everyone should have access to delicious, healthy, nourishing food and I want to help make that a reality wherever I can. By eating compassionately and avoiding animal products, we not only benefit ourselves, we can also have a beautiful and profound impact on the rest of the planet and all those who live here with us. Through choosing our food wisely, we hold the power to heal bodies, minds and beyond – something I have experienced first-hand.

Along my food journey, I have trained with various chefs around the world. My most notable studies include raw chef training in Bali, macrobiotic Italian chef training in Tuscany, and extensive training in cake making and decorating in London.

I am also a proud member of the beautiful Made In Hackney family. Made In Hackney is a wonderful London-based community cookery school charity providing free vital food education and cookery classes to those who need it most.
